Syntronics Guidance Systems Division is developing guidance electronics units for the next generation guided projectiles and UAVs.

Semi-Active Laser (SAL) (pictures shown above)  and a GPS based guidance systems are currently on the drawing board. The SAL guidance system fits into a 105mm body and supports direct fire (AC-130 Gunship) and GPS augmented indirect fire – leveraging previous laser seeker expertise and current guidance designs.

The Guidance Integrated Fuze (GIF) (pictures shown below) fits into a standard NATO fuze and provides GPS guidance for previously un-guidable ordnance. The guidance approach is made simple and affordable by maintaining a perfect ballistic path to the target, with minimal corrections being made over the extended terminal phase of the ballistic flight path. All of our designs are based upon COTS components, miniaturization, and low cost production objectives.   Operational features of GIF are as follows: Fits standard NATO fuze envelope, Provides GPS guidance and fuze functions, First round hit within GPS accuracy, Interfaces with wide range of projectiles without modifications, Low production cost .
